Pembiayaan Ekosistem Payung

Financing facility for Bumiputera participants under the Pembiayaan Ekosistem Payung programme, to start a new business or diversify existing businesses.


Purpose

  • Asset acquisitions (except land & building); and
  • Working capital requirement

Eligibility

  • Bumiputera MSMEs as defined by SME Corp.
  • Registered with Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (“SSM”), or authorities/district offices (for Sabah and Sarawak), or statutory bodies for professional service providers
  • Must be a Resident controlled Bumiputera MSMEs (minimum of 51% Malaysian equity ownership and 51% Malaysian directorship).
  • Shariah-compliant business.
  • Confirmation that the customer has been appointed/enrolled with selected Anchor under Umbrella Financing Program

Financing Facilities

  • Commodity Murabahah Term Financing-i (CMTF-i)
  • Ijarah Thummal Bai` (ITB) Financing

Financing Limit

  • Minimum: RM50,000
  • Maximum: RM1.0 million

Profit Rate

4.0% per annum

Margin of Financing

  • Asset acquisitions: Up to 80%
  • Working capital requirement: Up to 100%

Financing Tenure

  • Asset acquisitions: Up to 7 years including grace period of not more than 12 months
  • Working capital: Up to 5 years including grace period of not more than 12 months

Collateral

No collateral is required for this financing.

Takaful

For working capital financing involving purchase of stock (materials raw, semi-finished goods) shall be covered by Takaful coverage.
