Financing for Micro Businesses
line

If you are a start-up or a micro business and you require working capital, the SME Bank may be able to help you grow your business and provide you with financing or business development advice on our special programmes. In this SME category, there are special schemes which have been established by Government Ministries and Agencies to promote entrepreneurship across priority and growth sectors. Should we not have a programme to suit your needs, we will refer you to our strategic partners with whom we work closely to ensure that you receive end-to-end advice on how to grow your micro business.

Financial Products
line

For the micro business, we offer conventional and Islamic financial products and services and these include:

bullet Working capital for the purchase of raw materials, overhead and pre-operational costs.
bullet Term loans, hire purchase and leasing for asset acquisition (e.g. for furniture/fittings, computers, machinery, equipment and vehicles).
bullet Advisory services on the preparation of a bankable business plan, book keeping and cash flow management.

Our interest rates (or profit margins for Islamic products) range from 3.75% to 7.5% depending on the sources of funds. We offer attractive margins of financing from 50% to 90%, again depending on the sources of funds, and type of asset(s) financed. **

** Terms & conditions apply.
