The Concept of Entrepreneur Premise Scheme

Entrepreneur Premise Scheme is an integrated approach to entrepreneurial development by providing financing, factory space rental, entrepreneurial training as well as financial and advisory services

In addition, these schemes also emphasise on: -
The project selection consistent with the concept of a viable business The selection of the prospective participants (entrepreneurs) who are talented and committed

And provides: -
A suitable factory space in terms of location, cost and complete with basic amenities Implementation of management training activities and technical improvement Adequate and suitable finance amenities to fund the project of the participants

Each of the Entrepreneur Premise Complex consists of various sizes of factories depending on the local needs and built at a strategic locations

Operating Rules

	Selection of candidates is made by the SME Bank
	Determining the nature and concept of the project to be undertaken is determined by the participants with the advice and consent of SME Bank
	Every project undertaken is owned and operated full time by the participant
	The Bank also provides facilities to finance the project of the participants
	Factory units leased by the SME Bank to the participants is competitive and affordable
	Basic period of the entrepreneur/project that participates in each complex is five (5) years. After the period ends, successful entrepreneurs/projects are required to move out of the complex and SME Bank will contrive to help through other facilities provided. The factory building that has been vacated will be offered to other new entrepreneurs, and this process will continue on.

Participant Eligibility

	Have skills / experience related to the projects that have been carried out.
	Operate full time business at the Entrepreneur Premise Complex of SME Bank
	Have the ability and preparation to carry out the project.
	Ability to repay the offered loans and fixed rent of the factory

Project Feasibility

	100%-owned by Bumiputra.
	Cooperatives are allowed to rent the premises at Entrepreneur Premise Complex of SME Bank.
	Agencies or public bodies are also allowed to rent for a specific purpose related to entrepreneur development.
	Priority is for entrepreneurs who already own a business.

	Please visit to our nearest office to discuss. Entrepreneurs who are interested to rent a space can get the form at the nearest branch office available in every state.
