Branch Manager (All Branches)

Responsibilities:

  • Strategizes and markets Bank’s products, ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the support & services provided in a timely manner to both internal and external customers.
  • Monitors the growth and performance of Enterprise Centers and developing potential SME entrepreneurs.
  • Provides right form of leadership and drive the Enterprise Centre to achieve superior performance and meet its corporate objectives.
  • Creates and promote good branding/visibility of the Bank among stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in relevant fields, and CCP is a value added criteria.
  • Minimum 8 years working experience in banking and operations and at least 6 years experiences in leading all related units.

Relationship Management Officer (All Branches)

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts sales and marketing activities to solicit for business among the existing and potential clients.
  • Proposes to clients suitable Bank’s products and services that fit their business needs.
  • Provides documents and accurate information on the products and services offered to clients.
  • Ensures that all activities of financing application comply with internal and external standards, risk and compliance requirements.
  • Conducts credit evaluation and prepare credit proposal.
  • Manages in obtaining approval and/or decision from the Approving Authority based on completed credit proposal.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in relevant fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience in banking and operations.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.

General Intervention (All Branches)

Responsibilities:

  • Executes task in account management and coordinates specific interventions activities.
  • Plans and executes collections and post disbursement activities.
  • Prepares request for changes to term of financing (pre and post disbursement).
  • Focuses on customer service especially in nurturing/developing the entrepreneurs.
  • Provides and recommends the right intervention program for the developmental of SME entrepreneurs.
  • Monitors credit control, collections and the post disbursement account management and any changes on the financing.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in relevant fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience in banking and operations.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.

Specific Intervention (All Branches)

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes client’s business including budgets, profit and loss statements & balance sheets, performance expectations and personnel evaluations in order to identify potential areas to improve performance.
  • Assists Head, Specialised Development (SD) to conduct needs assessment as required to determine the necessary interventions to ensure business success for the SME entrepreneurs.
  • Assists Head, SD to propose program for growth and development support to SME entrepreneurs across a range of critical business functions such as accounting systems, human resources development, procurement, improved operations and maintenance procedures and systems, marketing, logistics, environmental compliance, reporting, and monitoring and evaluation, among others.

Requirements:

Rehabilitation & Recovery

Responsibilities:

  • Develops plan to maximize collection of delinquent accounts.
  • Conform to the Bank’s statutory guidelines and regulations on all rehabilitation and recovery plans
  • Manages overall credit portfolio and credit control in order to maintain an acceptable quality of financing assets.
  • Manages litigation and recovery actions for maximum recovery.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in relevant fields, and CCP is a value added criteria.
  • Minimum 8-10 years working experience in banking operations and experience in Rehabilitation & Recovery is an added advantage.

Credit Approval

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures the department plays its role as the second-line of defense objectively without sacrificing portfolio growth.
  • Leads and supervise the staff to ensure relevant risks have been identified, proper mitigations and recommendations are made to minimize credit loss incidence during review of credit proposals.
  • Ensures appropriate credit decisions are made in line with the LOA assigned and within the Bank’s risk appetite and in accordance with good credit practices.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in relevant fields, and in possession of relevant professional qualifications fulfilling the regulatory requirements (if any).
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in related industries; had assumed management positions with good professional ethics and occupational track records.
  • Possess good management skills.
  • Preferably CCP certified or possess other relevant professional certification.

Credit Management

Responsibilities:

  • Executes and maintain credit supervision policies and procedures while ensuring compliance to credit policy.
  • Develops, implement and maintain an effective credit monitoring including the relevant IT support system.
  • Monitor and manage delinquent loan portfolios of the respective Regional Centers and other Business units.
  • Proactively identify portfolio that requires special attention.
  • Undertake resolution for complex cases.
  • Monitor and manage post approval credit monitoring and administration functions including annual reviews, rescheduling & restructuring.

Data & Collateral Management

Responsibilities:

  • Monitors CCRIS registration, updating loan application status, monthly submission to Central Bank in timely manner.
  • Monitors CIF registration and updating in timely manner.
  • Monitors Collateral registration and updating in timely manner.
  • Ensures data quality and accuracy on each activity through the proper flows and well documented.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in relevant fields, and in possession of relevant professional qualifications fulfilling the regulatory requirements (if any).
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in related industries; had assumed management positions with a good professional ethics and occupational track records.

Loan Accounting

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the transaction of Loan Repayment and reversal auto allocation in the system and get clarification from the maker if necessary.
  • Act as an adhoc for Core Banking System (CBS) by matching all the transaction with the supporting documents.
  • Verify and authorized loan/financing statement amount for financing settlement

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in relevant fields, and in possession of relevant professional qualifications fulfilling the regulatory requirements (if any).
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in related industries; had assumed management positions with a good professional ethics and occupational track records.

Shariah Review

Responsibilities:

  • Supervises and drives the implementation of Shariah compliance initiatives and programme including formulation of Shariah review plan.
  • Provides feedback/ advisory to relevant functions to improve level of Shariah compliance in credit and non-credit areas.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in relevant fields, and in possession of relevant professional qualifications (if any).
  • A minimum of 5 – 7 years of experience in related industries; had assumed management positions with good professional ethics and occupational track records.
  • Knowledge on market best practices, Shariah principles, Fiqh Muamalat and regulatory expectations and risk in Islamic Finance.
  • Knowledge in areas of credit operations and banking business / practices.

Shariah Advisory And Research

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and manages the overall implementation of the Islamic Banking Scheme (IBS) in SME Bank and to ensure the processes are in compliance with Shariah and external regulator (Bank Negara Malaysia)’s requirements.
  • Supervises Islamic Banking Financing portfolio & approvals, disbursement process and procedures as well as Fund placement & acceptance.
  • Administers, disseminates and implements Shariah Committee’s decision and directions in Islamic Banking of SME Bank.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Shariah/Fiqh discipline or its equivalent in relevant fields, and in possession of relevant professional qualifications fulfilling the regulatory requirements (if any).
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in managerial Shariah position in related industries; had assumed management positions with good professional ethics and occupational track records.
  • Deep and wide knowledge in the areas of Fiqh Muamalat.
  • Deep and wide knowledge in the comparative of products design and development mechanism between Islamic and conventional products.

Money Market & Interbank

Responsibilities:

Money Market

  • Monitors the cash flows, borrowings, forecasting and planning, daily transactions and daily cash reconciliations management
  • Monitors the performance and security of credit, working, and depository accounts of the Bank.
  • Evaluates and recommend investment options, funding sources, and financial instruments that will meet the Bank’s treasury objectives.

Sales

  • Ensures growth of Fixed Deposit (conventional and Islamic) acceptance portfolio and monthly update on deposits demography and monitoring of outstanding balance.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in relevant fields, and in possession of relevant professional qualifications (if any).
  • Must possess PPKM license
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in related industries; had assumed management positions with good professional ethics and occupational track records.

Business Analyst/Help Desk

Responsibilities:

  • Works together with IT Project Management Office for any project/ or initiatives assigned,
  • Ensures the smooth implementation and customization of the CBS Solution.
  • Setting up standards and guidelines for the CBS solution and ensuring its adherence, to optimum efficiency and effectiveness within SME Bank.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in relevant fields, and in possession of relevant professional qualifications fulfilling the regulatory requirements (if any).
  • A minimum of 5 – 7 years of experience in related industries; had assumed management positions with good professional ethics and occupational track records.
  • Knowledge in Flexcube, Financing Origination System.

Corporate Planning

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and manages the development of the Bank’s corporate strategic plan
  • Monitors and measures the implementation and performance of the current corporate strategy and plan through balanced score cards, KPI and KRA; and
  • Develops the key business intelligence information to various stakeholders of future economic and business trends, new markets and industrial knowledge, new products and services offerings, and other critical information instrumental to develop the Bank competitive advantage.

Requirements:

Operational Compliance & Credit Review

Responsibilities:

  • Plans, organizes and supervises effective and robust operational Compliance and Credit Review Programme to support the Bank’s strategic objectives towards sound operational compliance and credit culture, in line with the best market practices and regulatory expectation.
  • Supervises and drives the performance of review on selected network office and head office functions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in relevant fields, and holding professional certificate in Certified Credit Professional (CCP/PCC) OR Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) OR other relevant professional qualifications.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in related industries; had assumed management positions with good professional ethics and track records.

Funding And Balance Sheet Management

Responsibilities:

  • Manages balance sheet activities of the Bank’s businesses to understand in depth the full breath of SME banking, balance sheet analysis, planning and optimization, liquidity management skills and tools affecting balance sheet activities.
  • Manages the fund resources in accordance with Bank’s procedures, rules and policy guidelines
  • Ensures the Bank has sufficient liquidity for its daily operations and timely reporting of the Bank’s liquidity position to the management, Board of Directors and Bank Negara Malaysia

Requirements:

Financial & Accounting Policy

Responsibilities:

  • Derive, initiate and ensure effective implementation of financial and accounting policy and procedures in accordance with accounting standards i.e. MASB or BNM guidelines
  • Compute impairment provision monthly financing.
  • Compute monthly financing impairment provisions.
  • Ensures effective implementation of financial and accounting policy and procedures in accordance with accounting standards i.e. MASB or BNM guidelines.

Requirements:

Bank Reconciliation Section

Responsibilities:

  • Monitors the day to day activities and to ensure to meet the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) requirement.
  • Monitors the day to day activities which related to preparation of bank reconciliation.
  • Initiates established procedures and guidelines to improve payment & disbursement of loans/claims processing.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, Diploma or its equivalent in relevant fields, and in possession of relevant professional qualifications fulfilling the regulatory requirements (if any).
  • A minimum 3 years of relevant experience in related industries; with good professional ethics and occupational track records.
  • Knowledge in Accounting Standards.

Assets & Taxation

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement strong internal financial controls and procedures whilst also showing understanding of the business
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, proper recording and filing in order to maintain the integrity of the Bank’s financial records in compliance with regulatory reporting requirement in terms of Accounts Payable & Receivable, Fixed Assets, Taxation and Zakat.

Requirements:
